The Development team returned to home action looking to bounce back from a 1-3 loss to Romsey Town midweek. A bright Salisbury side started well but the game changed when their right winger who looked a threat decided to save a shot with his arm in the 22nd minute leaving the referee not much option than to award a penalty and send the player off.
The penalty was duly tucked away with the keeper being sent the wrong way.
The 2nd goal was good quick break with a tidy finish.
In the end, a good 3 points with a goalless 2nd half which did have opportunities for both sides and Salisbury ended the game well even with being down to 10 men for 3/4s of the game.
