The Development squad were back in action after their mid season break and took a trip to Romsey Town who did have a few 1st teamers in and returned with a 1-3 loss.
The Under 23s got things going again at the County Ground with 1st team Management team led by Tim Sills all in attendance to check out a few of the Senior squad included in a strong U23s team. The Veo camera got dusted off and below you can see all the Hammers goals in a 7-2 victory. A good workout for all involved including some promising U18s making the step up and not looking out of place!
With 3 of the teams deciding to not return to action, the Under 23s still need to keep winning to top the table at the season end with Dorchester Town U23s being their closest rival.
That might have been the first time in over 30 years of football that I have been frozen and watching in snow showers in April!! And I was sunburned only 2 days ago...Great British weather but fantastic to be able to video a game at long last.

Oliver Davis nets the 2nd. After trying this a few minutes earlier, he gets this great strike just right!
A couple of minutes later and it's Cam Munn tucking away a penalty after he was brought down in the box himself.
Goals coming in thick and fast with Drew Eccott-Young making it 4-1 before half time....right place at the right time to bundle the ball home.
The 2nd half turned out to be the Matty Neale show. His 1st was from a mistake from the Brockenhurst goalkeeper.
Matty Neale's 2nd was a nice turn and run inside to open up the goal.
The final Hammers goal sealed Matty Neale's hat-trick after a neat 1-2 with Connor Cocklin.
